Beth grew up in Alfalfa County as the daughter of a nurse and farmer/rancher. She was taught the value of hard work and perseverance graduating as valedictorian from Timberlake High School. While pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Oklahoma State University, she was very active in Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Soon after, she moved to Durham, North Carolina where she worked in the healthcare industry and travelled widely, gaining insights into the healthcare of various people.

Shortly thereafter, she returned home to begin nursing school at Northern Oklahoma College. After graduation, she worked in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary’s in Enid where she developed a foundation caring for patients with a wide array of medical problems. While employed, she started nurse practitioner school online through the University of South Alabama, graduating in 2013.

Her first position as a Family Nurse Practitioner was at Mercy Division Clinic in Guthrie. Four years later, Beth married Charlie Acre and relocated to Canton establishing a home in Northwest Oklahoma again. She practiced at Great Salt Plains (GSP) Clinic in Canton for almost 6 years where she first started caring for the people of her community and rural area.

Beth continued her treatment of rural Oklahomans at the Okeene Hospital Medical Clinic until opening this clinic in November of 2025. She is thrilled to be providing care for her fellow rural Oklahomans who she considers her friends and family.

As a proud graduate, and valedictorian, of Canton High School, I knew that someday I wanted to return home and raise my children. Immediately following high school, I opened my own business in Woodward, Oklahoma, and successfully operated it for 10 years. I also managed an oilfield industry office, which gave me insight into office efficiency and procedures. Together, these experiences helped me recognize that my calling was interacting with people and the personal satisfaction attained when meeting their needs.

In 2020, I was welcomed into the rural healthcare field and realized working in healthcare and directly caring for patients in my hometown and from surrounding communities was exactly where I needed to be. I cherish working in rural Northwest Oklahoma where I was raised and shaped into the woman I am today.

It is important that I give back to the people who have supported me and my three children. I love what I do and adore taking care of the patients at Main Street Family Clinic. Our patients aren’t just patients to me, they are family.
